Patriot Day 2013 White Dove Release

Republished below is a newsletter that went out to all county Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS regarding the White Dove Release by A Touch Above for a 9/11 event.

***********************************************

At 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, Frank Fanni of "A Touch Above," who specializes in white dove releases for weddings, funerals, and special outdoor occasions, will be releasing 50 white doves at the Polk County Sheriff's Office Sheriff's Operations Center, located at 1891 Jim Keene Blvd in Winter Haven, in honor of the first responders who perished during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

Frank has invited first responders, including Law Enforcement Officers, Fire, and EMS, from across the county to the event. The public and media are also invited and encouraged to attend.

"Frank and his beautiful white doves are very special to us. He has helped our grieving PCSO family members time and again at funerals we have held for our agency members who paid the ultimate sacrifice. We are honored that Frank chose to commemorate the fallen heroes of 9/11 at our Operations Center on this day. We hope to see you here during this special event." - Sheriff Grady Judd
